On the left side of the chart it shows how things were started on the right side. I think it also shows the past and how things have progressed. For example as walls and towns progressed they eventually turned into open trade centers because things got more modern. Everything also progresses because other things on the chart progress. When food shortages were around no one got anything done, nothing was invented and everything stayed the same. But when a food surplus occured people had more time to invent things and stop working on their farm.

I would definitely choose food shortage -> food surplus. Because that created so much opportunity for people to travel and trade and not tend to their farms. Without people being able to tend less to their farms, I don’t think half of the things on the list would have occurred as fast as they did. This includes food variety, the creation of open trade centers, as well as the expansions of horizons and trade routes.

The age of enlightenment in my opinion was just a period of time where things progressed and improved. The word enlightenment means to be relieved of something and basically as things moved forward it made life easier for people and relieved them of a lot of their chores and tasks they had to complete. These tasks include things such as farming, trading fabrics and clothes for warmth and even hunting equipment.

During the age of enlightenment Voltaire influenced people with his literature and criticism of Christianity. He reminded the world that “all men are brothers under god” as he put it and he also set an example for people who followed deism. He believed that god created everything and made sure everything would work correctly with our influences.

Well iv had a lot of experiences that influence who I am today, but the one that probably impacts me the most is all of the different people I’ve met moving from school to school most of my life. There are a lot of people everywhere that are different, and I think I’m as understanding as I am because I’ve seen that in a lot of people. It’s kind of hard to explain, but if there’s any plus in moving as much as I have that’s all I can pull out of it.
